Welcome
Changing Behaviour is a project that aims to support change in energy use and energy services. We do so by applying social research on technological change to practical use. Our focus is on the interaction between energy experts and energy users: How can these different groups learn to understand each other better?

Changing Behaviour is an action research project. Researchers and practitioners work together to develop, test and refine tools for improved interaction that are sensitive to context, timing and the needs of different users and stakeholders.

Changing Behaviour is a European project that is funded by the EU 7th Framework Programme Energy theme (contract number: 213217). The project partners are from Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and the UK.

Launch of Open Innovation Platform
Friday, 28 November 2008 13:06
We launch an Open Innovation Platform for energy saving practitioners in connection with the first workshop in Tallinn. Take a look at it at https://energychange.info/open-innovation-platform and feel free to submit your ideas!

Open Innovation is a way of innovating where ideas are freely shared across organizations. People can contribute to others’ ideas and make them better. People can also freely use others’ ideas. Free sharing of ‘incomplete’ innovations helps to improve, but also to ‘pre-market’, the solutions you are developing.

The CHANGING BEHAVIOUR Open Innovation Platform aims to help energy saving practitioners and their stakeholders across Europe to share and develop ideas for innovative energy saving programmes. We hope to get better programme designs through a critical but supportive discussion of innovative or even ‘far-out’ ideas.

Everyone can contribute to the CHANGING BEHAVIOUR Open Innovation Platform.

Manchester Knowledge Capital hosted one of the events presenting the Manchester is My Planet programme. The MEPs are particularly interested in the European co-operation of the programme, so CHANGING BEHAVIOUR has now been presented to an audience of top-level decision makers.
