In the Lativan pilot project, a small survey was carried out among residents of all participating buildings in the beginning and in the end of the project. This helped to monitor how opinions changed, where people usually get information about energy efficiency from and what kind of information they would like to receive. Pilot manager Ekodoma took care to formulate questions which were easy to understand and easy to answer. They asked building elders for help with distributing and collecting questionnaires again. Of course, it took some time to collect all answers in a spreadsheet and conduct some statistical analysis. The results were worth the effort because they helped to get better insight into who residents trust and what opinions they hold. You can find the project story here.
